Darrell Searcy

 

Darrell has more than 20 years of corporate experience working with fortune 100 and multi-national organizations such as Homebanc Mortgage Corporation; Siemens; Upjohn & Pharmacia Pharmaceuticals; The Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games; and IBM. Darrell has served numerous fortune 100 clients in the capacity of consultant, project manager, or business performance manager. Those customers include The Coca-Cola Company, IBM, BMW, The Atlanta Journal & Constitution, and the Southern Company.


Darrell is actively involved in the community by serving nonprofit and municipal organizations in various capacities, and by actively participating in professional and social based organizations that have a primary focus on capacity building in the nonprofit sector. Darrell is an active member of Leadership Palm Beach County (Class of 2010), and currently serves as an adjunct professor for the Bachelor of Applied Science program in Supervision and Management at Palm Beach Community College.


Darrell was recognized by the Palm Beach County Office of Small Business Development as the vendor of the month in April 2009 and selected for the 2009 Movers & Shakers Award presented by Business Leader Media. Darrell was commended for his commitment to leadership as recognized by his induction into The Buckhead Business Association Leadership Development Program in 2000 and the Outstanding Young People of Atlanta Class of 1999. Darrell has also served as a board member for the Metropolitan Neighborhood Development Corporation; The Community Association of Metropolitan Parkway; The Atlanta Chapter of the National Black MBA Association; and local chapters of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Darrell has been recognized for his community development work by receiving the John C. Birdine award for dedicated community service and his selection into the FBI Citizens Academy.


Darrell received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Georgia State University in 1992 and an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management in Atlanta, GA. in 1998.
